Providing care,
connection and advocacy when families need it most.

Built on lived experience. Driven by purpose.

The Aliyah Mae Foundation supports families navigating the loss of a child aged 0 to 18. We provide trauma-informed care, practical resources, and a community that understands — while working alongside clinicians and healthcare systems to drive meaningful, lasting change.

We exist to fill the gaps we know firsthand and ensure no family grieves alone.

“I reached out for help and I cannot even start to express my gratitude for how they helped us. They not only provided financial support for my therapy sessions, but also provided a kind voice from someone who truly understood what it was to lose a child. They gave me space to breathe, taking some financial pressure off and allowing me to access therapy without guilt about the cost. They also provided a community where I felt less alone, even though our journeys were all so different we had all experienced the unfathomable and are still trying to find our new place in an upside down world.”

Two women sitting on a white couch in a bright, modern room, engaging in a conversation. One woman has dark hair, is wearing a black top and white pants, and is smiling while gently placing her hand on the other's arm. The other woman has brown hair, is wearing a white t-shirt and light blue jeans, and is holding the other's hand. They appear to be having a friendly, supportive chat.

OUR WHY

When a child dies, everything stops. The world keeps moving.

Families are often left to navigate practical steps and decisions while still in shock and deep grief. There is no roadmap. No one hands you a guide. Many are met with silence when they need support the most.

We're dedicated to ensuring that no family has to go through this journey alone.

WHAT WE DO

Support at every stage of the journey.

Our programs are available to families across Western Australia and are designed around what bereaved families actually need: practical assistance, professional support, and community connection.
